1. Payment
Payment is due by the end of each session. Accepted methods include bank transfer or cash. Future bookings cannot be confirmed until payment has been received.
Payment can also be made in advance if preferred.
For advance bookings (blocks of 10 or 20 sessions), full payment must be made before the first session to qualify for the reduced rate. These discounts cannot be applied retrospectively.

2. Booking & Cancellations
Sessions are booked on a first-come, first-served basis and confirmed once payment has been received (or as otherwise agreed). Booking in advance is recommended to secure your preferred time.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 48 hours’ notice. I understand that emergencies happen, so I allow one last-minute cancellation without charge. After this, the full session fee will apply if notice is less than 48 hours.
In the unlikely event that I need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be no charge, and we’ll reschedule at a convenient time.

3. Complimentary Session
Each learner is entitled to one complimentary session, either individually or as part of a shared session. If a student introduces a new friend to tuition, that new learner will also receive their own complimentary session before starting regular lessons.

4. Session Follow-Up
After each session, I will email a short summary to the learner or carer, highlighting key points and any optional follow-up tasks.

5. Group Tuition
Shared tuition is available for up to three students per session. For online group sessions, all participants must be studying the same content. Please refer to the pricing section for details.

6. Travel Fees
In-person sessions held at the student’s home may include a small travel fee, depending on location. Any such fees will be agreed in advance.

7. Progress & Outcomes
While I take every care to support each learner’s progress, I cannot be held responsible for outcomes beyond my control, including exam results or changes to curriculum or exam board requirements.

8. Privacy & Confidentiality
All personal information shared during tuition is handled with care and kept strictly confidential. I do not share or disclose any details without explicit consent. Records are stored securely in line with UK GDPR regulations.

9. Safeguarding & Conduct
I’m committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. I expect all learners to engage positively and treat others with kindness. Any concerns about safety or conduct will be taken seriously and handled in line with safeguarding guidance.
